One of our top goals is to assist the team with the cost of a full-time head coach’s salary. A full time coach is critical to the program’s long-term success by providing consistency. The coach can help build and transfer club knowledge from one year to the next. The coach can help maintain traditions and keep a consistent culture that is vital to the team’s success. The coach is the one person who wakes up every day thinking how to make the program stronger and faster.
The UC Davis Men’s Crew alumni are more than 800 strong! Together, we can make an impact on many young team members’ lives by giving back and allowing someone else to have the great crew club experience that we all enjoyed. A little bit of money goes a long way! As a donor, you will be very close and intimate with the results of your donation. The team operates on a tight budget so every donation is appreciated. Whether we help with coaching salaries, purchase new boats and other equipment, subsidize team dues or travel costs, or just fund alumni gatherings, you will hear from us on how your funds were spent. You can take great satisfaction knowing that you helped make all those things happen.
